Wait one minute… what the heck is wRisk? How can taking over the world lead to an open source Battle City?

wRisk is a Java version of the classic game of world domination, Risk. Sounds cool! It is. But, don’t pat us loobles on the back, thank Yura.net, developers of the Open Source Domination project. Pay them a visit and shake their virtual hands. Yes, we stole their code and renamed it wRisk. This may make us evil blood sucking leeches, but that is the beauty of open source. Today we are villains, but tomorrow we are heroes when we give back to the project!

What does this have to do with Battle City? At this point, absolutely nothing! However, take note that we are far more than evil leeches; we are loobles. We think above, we go beyond, we scheme and we code. Enter Ggz.

Ggz is an online gaming center based on free open source software. It has an integrated player ranking system, spectator mode and a surrounding chat system. In a nutshell, it’s a portal, a metaserver. Our goal? If someone starts a multiplayer game of wRisk/Domination, that game is then listed in the central portal. That would be awesome wouldn’t it? Of course it would. Lonely nights playing by yourself would be a thing of the past.

How does this help Battle City? Think about it. If ggz works with wRisk, we can try it with Battle City. Anybody could host their own Battle City server with their own maps and customizations. All servers would talk back to the metaserver, stats would be kept in the central database. There could be a newbie server, classic server, duel server, league server. There could be maps with only two CC’s or maps where the Mayor drops the Command Center anywhere…

Why don’t we let people host their own Battle City servers now? Because it would fragment the already small community. With the portal, all players would remain connected. All servers would be listed in the portal. It would be like the meeting room, except instead of a city list, you would have a server list. Joining a server would be like joining a game, you would immediately enter as a spectator and have the option to join a team or start your own.

It’s a dream, it’s a big dream, but it starts right here, right now, taking over the world with wRisk.

It’s official, now that all content has been moved to Looble, I’ve given the order to shut-down AlienSpore.com!

When I first acquired Alien Spore from Mr. Alien, Herky was asked to keep it updated with software news so that we could retain the readership and fans of the original website. My goal was never to destroy AlienSpore.com, I simply had to silence Mr. Alien before he revealed my plan for world domination. I apologize for not keeping a closer eye on Herky, who apparently mistook software news to mean some sort of personal journal about love stories. Herky’s “softnews” has managed to reduce the daily visitors at Alien Spore to about three… We really see no need to continue wasting resources on this project for the time being. Rest assured, Herky has been punished for this. He is currently locked away in a dungeon far beneath Looble Headquarters and we have no intention of ever releasing him.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! I will be keeping the domain as part of the looble portfolio and may consider developing it in the future. Later this week AlienSpore.com will be parked and contact information for anyone interested in purchasing it will be available.

Thanks for your understanding!

Looble… empty? Not for long! We’re about to import a whole bunch of Looble related content from AlienSpore.com! That’s right, Herky is not the mastermind behind anything related to Looble, he is just a pawn, used by me in order to accomplish my grand plans…

Back in 2003, Mr. Alien ran AlienSpore.com. His investigation of Looble.com nearly foiled my secret plans for world domination. That’s when I unleashed Herky to eliminate Mr. Alien. Herky failed miserably. His secret mission became a public spectacle when his threatening emails were revealed by Mr. Alien… In the end, I had to silence Mr. Alien by purchasing AlienSpore.com. Of course, everyone assumed that Herky was the one who purchased AlienSpore.com, especially since I’ve been allowing Herky to run the website ever since! Nobody ever suspected me, Weebo…

Of course, now that Looble is ready for the next phase of it’s plans, there is no longer a need to keep Herky around. He will be locked away in a dungeon as punishment for his incompetence. Bye bye AlienSpore.com, all ur content r belong to us now.

Looble… Blog!

Although Looble.com still only features the mischievous Looble… Looble text, we have now decided to expand and include this Looble Blog which will keep you updated with everything that is going on throughout the Looble Network!

But wait… What the heck is the Looble Network you ask and why is a guy named Weebo posting here all of a sudden…? I thought Herky owned Looble.com and that he purchased AlienSpore.com to cover up some sort of evil conspiracy for world domination?

There will be plenty of time to answer of all these questions. For now, just know that the Looble Network is a bunch of Looble… Looble websites! While our goal is not to confuse you, we have no intentions of providing further clarifications as to what that really means :)

Again, we encourage you to keep on visiting this Blog to find out what we are up to and who we are.
