Season in Review

The first ever Battlecity League (BCL) season has come to an end, and an interesting season it has been. We saw everything from first minute orbs to hard fought double-overtime battles with a few surprises and disappointments along the way.

As predicted, HDO ended up taking home the championship, but things didn't go quite as expected for some of the other teams. NBO was considered to be a strong contender but ended up losing every game. Meanwhile LA, perhaps the biggest underdog surprise of the season, earned their way into the playoffs with a win against NBO and a tie against JB.

When it came to the most exciting games of the season, the JB versus WFC matches were definitely the ones to watch. This was especially true during the playoffs, where the teams were so evenly matched that two of the games were decided in overtime.

All in all, the Fall 2005 BCL Season was a success. Thank you to all the clans that participated and all the referees who volunteered their time. It couldn't have happened without you!
