All teams involved with the BCL have now played at least one game! So far, the league has been very fun. We’ve seen some short games, and some really long intense games! We’ve even had one game go into overtime which was very fun since Mayors are not allowed to rebuild in OT.
The deadline for teams in the BCL to acquire new players is November 9th. If you aren’t on a team yet, join one and start taking part in all the action!
Also, I’d like to thank the community and those who have helped make the league possible. The community has done a great job not interfering with league games. We really appreciate that! Method, ObiWoz, Wujiamin, Merloch, thanks for being great refs! And nice articles Method, they make the league way more interesting and exciting! |

Battlecity League Season Opener October 12th! |

On October 12 at 9:30pm EST, the BCL will kick-off its first season with a match featuring HDO vs WFC!!! The full schedule can be found in the league menu on the right hand side of the website.
This season will be kept short and sweet! Consider it the ultimate Battlecity Round Robin Tournament! Each clan will play 4 games, one versus every other clan. The top 4 of the 5 clans will then qualify for the playoffs. If two teams are tied in last spot, the one which lost when they played each other will be eliminated. If they tied, then they will play a final deciding match to determine which qualifies for the playoffs.
The playoffs will then feature 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd in a best of 3 series. The winners of each series will then play for the CHAMPIONSHIP in a final best of 3 series!!!
Good luck everyone! We hope to have at least 2 refs for each game, so that we can also broadcast live commentary during the match for all those spectators interested in knowing how the match is going!
