Unpleasant time - 2007/10/19 17:00 Well, what happened is this:

Caez and me were in a city, and 4 people,
namely: Dark Sword, Legion and Red4life + another guy who left after sometime.

Since we can't attack, I took 2 dfgs to Defend, guess what they said ?

" It's so gay to D with dfgs "

LOL ! I was thinking... why can't we?
You guys are all high rankers and we are
only small frys compared to you guys.

Anyway, we didn't have other commandos either. So I find that IT ISN"T gay to D with dfgs at that time.
(I feel that it is " gay" to 4 v 2 us)

But soon, me and Caez were getting doubled by bartsie's team.

ORBED ! yeah,thats' what happpened in 2 mins when caez went afk and I had to defend 6 players!

Okay, im asking for everyone's opinion about this...

Don't let it frustrate you, use it as motivation for your next attack! Orbing those dudes will be so much more satisfying

From a development stand point, there isnt really any good way we can try to enforce fair fights. Some ideas that we are exploring would be aimed at reducing how long it takes to rebuild (as suggested by Vindkast), so losing, whether fairly or not, isnt such a big deal.

Ever since the mines were weakened by half, the dfg was moved up to the #1 defensive weapon. People are going to use them, get over it. If you are good enough then you won't get caught on them now will you?

Nightwish Karma: 7	Re:Unpleasant time - 2007/10/20 18:29 How dfgs were 12 years ago is not the issue. If you are doubled or outnumbered noone cares if you keep every dfg on D. Point is dfgs are the key item to get time enough at enemy base to get a bomb off or kill mayor and what else you do. Keeping a dfg on D only hurts your offence.

i have had many discussions, some with merloch, about the vast differences of this game from original games, EVERY argument about how it was in old bc, are invalid. plain and simple. you shouldn't even bother making them, i hope you realize that attacking now is completely useless without dfgs. i cant tell you exactly whats different as i dont have the best memory of waaaay back then, but its different i cant tell you that. so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop saying "but in old bc....."
