Re:Wall Wars - Fri. 07/27 @ 11 am EST - 2007/07/27 19:35
The teams were as follows:
Kabal
RelorM500 Alex2121 Morsmorde Darkluigi07(Kaboom)(tooshortt0ny)
Buckland
InfiniteZ Deceth Jazz Canadianspon
*Players brackets joined in place of another player*
Game # 1
This game was a very even match and last quite a long time. Both teams applied pressure and fought off attacks.
In the end Morsmorde rushed into Bucklands area near the walls and dropped greens behind him to protect himself. After doing this it was very easy for him and darkluigi to take out the walls.
Game # 2
This game went much quicker as Deceth over powered Kabal by rushing into Kabals cc and wall area and dropping turrets to protect him. Deceth takes out 2 walls rather quickly and than comes back after dying to get the last 3. Just as he is shooting the last wall Kabal arrives to protect their last wall by dropping a green. This only delayed the inevitable as Deceth returned moments later to take out the last wall.
Game # 3
This game started off quickly with Kabal jumping out of the gates and dropping 5 sleepers are Bucklands CC. It appears as there was no hope for Buckland as the players kept dying. Deceth somehow managed to get free and began to shoot out the sleepers to save Buckland from certain death. Kabal returned right away with greens and did much the same, dropping the greens near Bucklands CC. Deceth again saved Buckland as Kabal began to shoot the walls.
Deceth ended up taking out the first wall with a quick rush into Kabals area.
RelorM500 took out one of Bucklands walls to tie it at 4 walls a side.
Deceth was able to break in again and take down a second wall.
After this the game started to go down hill... as in players started leaving. It appears Buckland applied hard pressure and was forcing a lot of deaths at Kabals CC. I am not certain this is why players started leaving, but almost all at once everyone left. There ended up only being 2 players left and there was not really a winner in this game.
Game # 4
Another game was played for fun as a few people joined, but that game did not last long and the players did not stick around long either.
I ended up stopping the event due to a lack of players.
I think everyone who played enjoyed it very much. I am looking forward to the next Wall Wars.
