How would you all feel about season four being run by me with the following changes:

1) No clans. Teams would be built by captains. Captains (4-6 total) would be chosen by me based on experience, skill, and bcl attendance.

2) Players would be drafted by the captains in a fashion similar to the fantasy football drafts many of you have done in the past.

3) Players would possibly have a salary where they are paid a certain number of points per game. Teams could then have a salary cap. Should this come to pass, I see the salaries being defined by the captains. After the draft, players could be bought unless their captain matches or beats the offered price.

4) Round-robin prelims and bracket-style finals like we have now.

Advantages:
1- Teams would be "fair."
2- Non-clan players could easily join a team.
3- Clan members without enough players could easily play.
4- The BCL would have a fresh look with new teams.
5- The administrator of the league would no longer be a regular player (and clan leader).
6- Claims of favortism would be eliminated as the clanmates would be spread.
7- High-powered players could be lured by weaker teams with the promise of a higher salary.

Disadvantages/Limitations:
1- Weebo could say no.
2- People could refuse to play with other people (not really an issue IMO).
3- You wouldn't always get to play with your favorite players.


Please post your feelings about this format. Include first whether you would like to try it and then follow with the details of your opinion.

This would encourage more gameplay. I guess the only downside is I might not get to play with Friguy

If team captains are willing to donate to the BC store, players could actually be paid in "BCD" as suggested by someone in the past, meaning they could then make purchases from the BC store after earning enough in the league.

Or it could just be an artificial system, where each team has a salary cap, and u get bragging rights if u make the most hehe
